I'm a backend-focused full-stack developer in Kathmandu with 3+ years in production Node.js. I solely own the backend behind a press-release platform: about 45 REST endpoints across 3 live apps that process 40–50 client RSS feeds and 20–25 manual publications a month, reporting feature design directly to the CTO. I shipped a self-serve client CMS so customers can publish releases and connect their own RSS feeds — work that previously went through the support team. GitHub Actions CI/CD cut deploys from about 10 minutes of manual SSH and PM2 restarts to about 3 minutes, and release frequency went from weekly to 3–4 times a week. I test every endpoint in Postman and cover business logic with Jest so regressions show up in CI. I also work with Announce Chain in Denmark. Processes 1,000 URLs end to end in 3.3 minutes (~300 URLs/min): submit, enqueue, fetch, classify, extract the title, write to the database, and close the batch. A Redis-coordinated BullMQ queue uses a distributed rate limiter (10 req/sec) and a semaphore (5 concurrent) so multiple workers stay within a safe load. Live progress streams over SSE with a full-state resync on reconnect, PostgreSQL as the source of truth, and shared Zod contracts across a 3-app npm workspace. Learned Fastify and BullMQ from zero and shipped the queue system to production in 6 weeks.

The Next.js product covers industry and service pages, pricing, checkout, and order tracking, plus the blog and newsroom. Outlet media is served from DigitalOcean Spaces, and the app runs behind Nginx with SEO metadata and generated sitemaps. Clients submit a release, choose a distribution tier, and receive publication reporting across outlets such as AP News, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, and Benzinga.
